2019 Summer School, Discrete Choice Methods for Transportation Modelers and Planners

Course on DISCRETE CHOICE METHODS 
FOR TRANSPORTATION MODELERS AND PLANNERS

The Maryland Transportation Institute at the University of Maryland is pleased to announce a summer course in choice modeling to be held in the College Park campus from May 20th to May 24th, 2019. The program and the registration links can be found here.


The course will provide attendees with data, and software to estimate both basic and advanced model specifications. Different choice based examples will be used to illustrate the concepts and to interpret the results. The course is complemented by a section on Population Synthesis.

Students, Consultants and Professionals will all benefit from learning these techniques that are extensively applied in both four step models and activity-based models.
