Students interested in participating in an MTI research project should visit our Research page to explore active areas and peruse our affiliates to find faculty members working in your area of interest.
Course credits, fellowships, advising, and all other academic procedures are administered through affiliate schools. Contact your school, department, or program advisors for more information.
Sponsored by the National Transportation Center, this program allows undergraduate students from across the U.S. to compete for three research positions with participating transportation researchers in the University of Maryland Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Selection is based on academic merit.
