Eirini Kastrouni to Attend 22nd Eno Leadership Development Conference

Eirini Kastrouni

Eirini Kastrouni has been selected by the Board of Regents of the Eno Center for Transportation to participate in the 22nd Annual Eno Leadership Development Conference in Washington, DC, June 1-5, 2014. The program, which offers a rigorous weeklong transportation policy “boot camp” to 20 of the nation’s top transportation students, is recognized among the transportation education community to be a life-changing experience for emerging professionals in the industry.
Ms. Kastrouni is a 2nd year PhD student working with Dr. Lei Zhang. Originally from Athens, Greece, Ms. Kastrouni received her Diploma in Civil Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, Greece in 2010, and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University in 2012. Her research interests fall in the area of transportation economics, with a focus on the effect of transportation infrastructure investment on economic growth, and on equitable revenue generation mechanisms for the surface transportation system.
