NTC@Maryland Participates in the ITS MD Legislative Tech Fair

The Intelligent Transportation Society of Maryland (ITS MD) sponsored a Transportation Technology Fair on Tuesday, April 07, 2015, in Annapolis, MD. The purpose of this event was to inform the Maryland legislature about projects and products that use technology to improve the management and operation of our transportation network, and in particular how such technologies are being applied in Maryland. This year’s technology fair was setup as a themed event where government agencies and vendors from each region are paired up to show how technology is being used to cost-effectively transport people and freight using all modes in the state.

Mark Franz and Dr. Hyeon-Shic Shin of Morgan State University represented the NTC@Maryland at the event by discussing the research, outreach, and educational activities of the center with state of Maryland elected officials and their staff.
